Item #: 052200 A unique, beautiful, and very hard to find Victorian cranberry castor set, perfect for your dining enjoyment! This lovely five bottle castor set is cast German nickle silver, in a lattice and grape vine motif. It is quite heavy and ornate. The bottles are cranberry coin dot with silver plate lids. The oil and vinegar bottles have clear faceted stoppers with interior bubbles. One of the oil/vinegar bottles has a professionally smoothed down lip chip. It is not noticeable, but must be mentioned for accuracy. The bottles are 8 1/4" tall with the stoppers. The salt and pepper bottles are 7 1/2" tall, and the mayonnaise/mustard jar is 5 1/2" tall. There is no mustard spoon. Two clear cut glass salt dips complete the set. These are not original to the castor set, but fit well. The castor frame is oval in shape. It is 11 1/2" tall,8 3/4" long, and 7 1/2" wide. The frame is not marked. This elegant reminder of days gone by would look spectacular on your table!
