Santa Fe Railway Brass Keen Kutter General Lock & Key, E.C. Simmons
Item #: 5115 Here is a very nice working Santa Fe Railway Keen Kutter "General" brass lock that is sure to please! This brass lock has great patina and is embossed "Santa Fe" on the front side. Stamped below the cast "Santa Fe" logo on the body is "General". Embossed on the front shackle "St. Louis, U.S.A." It is embossed "Keen Kutter" across the back of the lock and "E.C. Simmons" on the shackle. Its dimensions are; 3 3/4" long and 2 1/8" wide. The original key will open the lock with a little assistance. Marked Keen Kutter signal locks are harder to find compared to the more common non-marked Keen Kutter Style "General" locks, which are marked "Santa Fe" on both sides. It is a fine Railroadiana example from the Santa Fe Railway thatyoucan proudly display!
