Here is a really nice antique Choctaw, Oklahoma & Gulf Railway brass Adams & Westlake Company switch key. It is stamped in block letters "CO&GRy", and on the reverse side, it is stamped "A810, S", manufactured by A&W in oval hallmark. The key has a dark patina and shows very little use, in excellent condition. It measures 2 1/8" long, and the hilt is 7/8" wide. The CO&GRy completed its mainline between West Memphis to Arkansas then to western Oklahoma by 1900. The CO&G came under the control of the CRI&P Railroad (the "Rock Island Lines") in 1902, and was formally merged into the Rock Island on January 1, 1948. These keys from the "Choctaw Route" are getting harder and harder to find, so don't miss out!
