This very fine Nippon vase has an Egyptian air about it, coming from a period when many were interested in all things Egyptian, from 1900 to the 1920s. The matte scenic is done in tones of brown, green, orange rust, and purple. The stylized handles, rim, foot, and much of the lower portion of the vase features gold trim and gold beading. The base is marked with the green "M" in the wreath (see photo). The dimensions are 7" Tall, and 4 1/4" diameter at the widest point. This lovely vase is perfect, with no chips, cracks, or flea bites. An exquisite vase, ready to display in your collection!
