This is an original Marx wind-up from the 1930's, in Charlie McCarthy's heyday. Charlie McCarthy is in excellent to near mint shape and works very well. His dimensions are 8 3/8" tall, feet are 2 3/4" wide. He has a few tiny scratches on the front of his pants at knee level, and one very small spot on the side of his jaw, otherwise the paint is wonderful, no rust either! Just wind him up and watch him go...he doesn't even need Edgar Bergen to operate!
