Item #: 5181 Here is a very nice lantern and globe from the Atchison, Topeka, & Santa Fe Railway. The 5 3/8" tall globe is a very rich deep ruby-red color. It has a medium cast AT&SFRy" in the rectangular round-end panel. On the other side, it is cast in the Corning logo "Cnx", and "2, Made In U.S.A." There are no rim chips or flakes on the top and bottom rims. The Badger pot and burner are in very good condition, with no pin holes. The lantern frame has lots of original tin and has been cleaned of dirt and oil and then hand-polished. The frame stands 10" tall without the bail and is straight with some minor dings or dents on the top lid and bell bottom (see pictures). This lantern is sure to please any Santa Fe Railway or Railroadiana lantern collector!
