This fully functional and beautiful Denver & Rio Grande Railroad brass cast heart shaped switch lock and key is a fabulous set with great patina! The brass key is stamped "D&RGRR" on the front, and the back is stamped "F4975, S" with the A&W oval hallmark. The lock itself is down cast "D&RG." The key cover spring is in excellent condition, and the lock will still unlock. There is some surface wear and minor dings to the lock from years of usage, and the key has nice even wear with a few dings as well. This only adds to the charm of the duo. There are four links of chain attached to the clevis that is not frozen. The dimensions of the lock are: 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide. The key is 2 1/8" long and the hilt is 15/16" wide. Any Colorado Railroadiana collector would proudly show off this set. . . why not add it to your collection today?!
