Regular price $495.00
Item #: 4017-5175
Here is a great Oregon, Washington Railroad  & Navigation Company lantern that is sure to please.  It is in its original condition, we just cleaned off the oil and grease, The top lid is embossed "OWRR&NCo., Adlake Reliable, The Adams & Westlake Co., New York, Chicago, Phila.". The last patent date is May 2, 1912. The frame does have some very minor surface roughness from years of use but has lots of tin and solid metal. The lantern comes with a strong clear cast in the oval rectangular paneled "OWRR&NCo" 5 3/8" tall globe. The globe is embossed with the "Cnx" Corning logo and "A" at the top on the other side. There's one minor inside flake on the top rim and one small inside bottom rim flake. These are minor and will not be seen when in the frame. The fount is in original very good condition with no holes. The OWRR&NCo. line is now part of the Union Pacific Railroad, and has been for over a century. A very nice West Coast Oregon and Washington Railroadina piece that will show nicely in your collection!
