You will not find Pacific Express Company locks laying around every day in your local antique store. This very rare 1902 brass 6-lever pancake lock was manufactured by DK Miller. It shows the last patent date of 1902 on the side of the lock. It comes with a matching steel key that is stamped "15". This lock is in excellent working order with a strong spring. The Pacific Express Company was formed in 1879 from the Kansas Pacific and Union Pacific Express Companies. It was taken over by Wells Fargo in 1911. The lock has a dark patina and is in original untouched condition. A nice and very rare express company lock set that serviced the railroads. Why not add it to your Railroadiana collection!
