Item #: 0924139 Here is a very nice Santa Fe Railway Keen Kutter "General" brass lock that is sure to please! This brass lock has great patina and is embossed "Santa Fe" on the front side. Stamped below the cast "Santa Fe" logo on the body is "General". Stamped very lightly is the patent date "12-19-1906 on the front tip. It is embossed "Keen Kutter across the back. The shackle is embossed on the front "St. Louis, U.S.A" and "E.C. Simmons" on the backside. The shackle slightly moves, very tight, but we do not have a key to open it. We would call the lock frozen. It comes with 1 1/2 links of chain. Marked Keen Kutter signal locks are harder to find compared to the more common non-marked Keen Kutter Style "General" locks, which are marked "Santa Fe" on both sides. This is a fine Railroadiana example from the Santa Fe Railway thatyoucan proudly display!
