Item #: 0910000C We have had the pleasure of owning this singularly beautiful piece of original artwork by the very well known and prolific artist Frank Howell, who passed in November of 1997 at the age of 60. We purchased this stunning original acrylic oil , titled "Dakota Sunrise", at the Frank Howell Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico in October of 1988, after recording a radio interview with Frank on our station KURA. This is an original acrylic oil, painted in 1985 by the artist. It is 9" long, and 15 1/2" wide. it is 23" wide, and 17 1/4" long with the frame. It is in the original museum quality frame, with beige linen and pale green silk double matting. The artist's signature appears in the lower right side of the painting. It has been lovingly maintained in a smoke-free environment for the last 29 years. There are many lithographs, serigraphs, and prints of Frank Howell's work, but his original pieces such as this one, are harder to find.
