2 Matching 1870’s-80's Blue Daisy & Button Pattern EAPG Banquet Oil Lamps

Regular price $995.00
Item #: 05350N

A beautiful and elegant set of EAPG (Early American Pattern Glass) matching oil lamps from the 1870's-80's. The oil lamps are quite large, possibly used for a fireplace mantle or as banquet lamps. The fonts are pear shaped blue paneled daisy and button pattern glass, with brass ringed connectors. The white opaque glass bases are very close to the Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., Wheeling, West Virginia bases, pictured in Oil Lamps 1, pgs. 151-154, by Catherine Thuro. The lamps have Queen Anne style burners, marked "P & A, Risdon Mfg. Co., Danbury, CT." The chimneys are both newer replacements. The lamps are both in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. One of the fonts has a slightly more vibtrant blue tone than the other, but nearly exact. The dimensions of the lamps are; 15" tall without the chimneys, with a 5 ½" square bases. The chimneys are 8 ½" tall. These gorgeous lamps are ready to grace a new home....maybe yours!
