Item #: 5121 Original Wells Fargo pieces are very hard to find these days with all of the reproductions being sold out there. This original brass wax sealer is marked "Wells Fargo & Co. Express, #1704, Messenger." The second photo was reversed so you can read it. The head is 1 1/8" in diameter, and it's 2 9/16" long. There is a hole on the top of the handle. It is in excellent original for its age, and a piece to make the discriminating Wells Fargo collector happy!
