A real treat for the serious Coca Cola collector! This is a 1938 oval Christmas bottle thermometer, featuring the December 25, 1923 bottle on a red and gold background. The finish has light surface wear, some spotting on the white fields of the Coca Cola lettering and background of the thermometer. There is a light scratch running along the right side of the bottle. The cotter pins holding the thermometer look new, so it is possible the thermometer was replaced at one time. One like it is pictured on pg. 128 of Wilson's Coca Cola Price guide, 4th edition. The thermometer is 16" long and 6 3/4" wide. A piece of Coca Cola memorabilia that will show off nicely in your collection!
