Item #: 1926 This was probably the greatest Christmas present ever for a little boy or girl! This 1960's tin battery operated toy was manufactured by the T.N Company in Japan. It is 15 ½" tall, with a red plastic nose cone, gray plastic wings, and a red and yellow plastic base, with rubber tires. It takes two D size batteries. It has five functions, including lights at the base and nose. The space rocket is in great condition, with minor wear from play. However, we have put fresh batteries in it, and it does not function. We feel it only has a loose wire or solder joint, but we do not take apart our toys. It will make a great display piece for your collection though, and even better if you make it work!
