Item #: 5112 Colorado & Southern Railway short globe lanterns are hard to find these days. Most C&SRy lanterns you find are tall globe frames. This lantern is embossed on the lid "C&SRy, Adlake No. 250 Kero, The Adams & Westlake Co., New York-Chicago-Phila." with the last patent date of 1923. The 9" tall frame has been cleaned of oil & dirt, then hand polished, which has lots of tin and solid metal. It comes with the correct Adlake 250 fount and burner that is in very good condition. The lantern comes a signal green Corning 3 1/4" tall short globe. It has a light cast "Cnx" logo to the right of a partial Corning sticker. The rims are in excellent condition with only one inside flea bite or very small flake on the top rim. This Colorado Railroadiana lantern will shine bright in your collection.
