An attractive Mary Gregory cruet from Europe. It is generally accepted that gold trimmed pieces are from Europe based upon our studies. This piece was easy, since there is a gold label on the bottom that says, "Made in Western Germany"! This amber cruet is 5 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide with the handle. The figure is white enamel of a young girl chasing a butterfly. Very cute and delicate! The handle and stopper are amber, and the stopper and rim have gold banding. There is a small mold mark, not a ding or flake, under the gold banding on the stopper. There are no chips or flakes anywhere on the piece. A sweet addition to a collection of cruets or Mary Gregory!
