Here is a very nice Union Pacific Lantern for you to hang in your train room. This 1913 Adlake Reliable is in very good condition with lots of tin and metal. There is some slight surface roughness on the top lid.It stands 10 1/2" tall without the bail. The bail has a hook attached to the bail for it to hang. The lid is embossed "Union Pacific, Adlake Reliable, The Adams & Westlake Co., New York, Chicago, Phila.", with the last patent date "Apr.1, 1913". It comes with a harder to find Corning style 5 3/8" tall clear globe that has a strong cast in the rectangular panel "Union Pacific". There is some cloudiness near the top from years of usage. There is one small top inside rim flake, and one small inside rim flake on the bottom rim that will not be seen when in the frame. The fount is in excellent condition with all tin. The burner is marked "Adlake, Apr.27, 1909". This lantern is sure to please the discerning UP Railroadiana fan of one of the transcontinental railroads!
